Patent Evaluation: assessing potential value imbedded in a patent or portfolio of patents for sale.
Pricing Guidance: GTT asks selling party to provide GTT with its price expectations. Selling party will be required to sign an exclusive Representation Agreement with GTT.
Upon execution of the Representation Agreement, GTT will commence its activities in marketing the patent/patent portfolio amongst potential buyers.
Once an apparently acceptable offer has been presented and both selling party and buyer have expressed an interest in entering into an agreement, a Patent Purchasing Agreement (PPA) draft will be submitted to selling party directly by the specific buyer. When the PPA is approved by the parties, GTT will assist the selling party with compiling and delivering the required patent documentation which must be delivered to the buyer (Deliverables), in order to comply with the terms of the transaction.
GTT will assist the seller in each and every stage until the completion of the transaction.
Payments are made by electronic bank transfer, promptly after the submission of all required Deliverables.
Upon conclusion of the transaction, Selling Party is required to pay GTT, in accordance with the terms of the Representation Agreement.
License Back: In most cases, the selling party can require and obtain license back for their own use and further development of the technology
